PSA: Shigeru Miyamoto Confirms New Nintendo Hardware

It’s looking more and more like a quick-bits news day today. We don’t necessarily have a problem with that, but when it’s something as juicy as this, we’d like to have just a bit more information to give you. Either way, it looks like Nintendo is indeed hard at work at creating a new piece of gaming hardware bliss for everyone out there. It was confirmed by Shigeryu Miyamoto himself, along with the fact that there are more MotionPlus titles coming out soon. The big question is: mobile console, or home-based console? Who knows. Hopefully we find out sooner than later.

You can also finally start ordering it from Barnes and Noble’s website, and expect a realistic delivery date from this point on. HTC Legend Makes an Appearance, No Surprises in Store

HTC Legend Makes an Appearance, No Surprises in Store

There isn’t much to go on here, other than the fact that this real-life shot of the Legend from HTC looks exactly like the render everyone saw a few months back. The optical mouse at the bottom is positioned right where the trackball of yester-year would have been placed, with what looks like touch-sensitive buttons right above that. There aren’t any real surprises in store for anyone who picks up the successor to the Hero, but we’re sure we’re not the only ones who think this thing is attractive.

Apple iPad: The Impact and Aftermath

January 27th marked the date of Apple’s first keynote of the year. It was designed specifically for the launch of one product, and one product alone: the iPad. For a company transfixed on developing the world’s best in mobile technology, integrating a tablet into their stream of products made the most sense. Everyone had been waiting for it, with rumors rising and falling all the way back to 2006. It wasn’t until Apple threw themselves into the mobile phone industry, that everyone realized it was possible. It was suddenly possible that Apple could indeed develop something that everyone wanted.

T-Mobile USA’s myTouch Slide Gets Photographed

T-Mobile USA’s myTouch Slide Gets Photographed

Considering how fast things get passed around on the Internet, we’re surprised that it took this long before anyone got a chance to see what the myTouch Slide would look like. When it was first rumored to exist last week, we half expected to see shots of the device the same day. But alas, we had to wait a bit longer, and while we realize it may not be the flashiest handset to get released this year, it doesn’t look half bad, either.

Apple’s ‘Latest Creation’ Event Kicks Off At 10:00AM Pacific Time

As we mentioned earlier in the month, Apple is announcing something today. The rumors are still flying about what that thing, or things, may be, but everyone is pretty certain Steve Jobs is going to be on stage long enough to tell us that a revolution in tablet computing, along with printed media, is just around the corner. We also mentioned that we would be bringing you the latest intel from that event, and we plan to do just that.

This Is Not the HTC Obsession, So What Is It?

This Is Not the HTC Obsession, So What Is It?

First and foremost, this image came up over at GSM Help Desk, and they were very quick to point it out as being the HTC Obsession we’ve all been waiting to see. There’s a reason we’ve all been waiting to see it: Windows Mobile 7. And right there, should give you all the information you need to see why this device is not the future HTC Obsession, or Diamond3.

Motorola Has a Render You Should See: Meet the MOTOSPLIT

Motorola Has a Render You Should See: Meet the MOTOSPLIT

It may not necessarily be Motorola who wants you to check out this crazy concoction of a phone and keyboard, but perhaps someone at Motorola. These blurry-cam shots of a render of a future phone are pretty fantastic, and by that, we mean out of this world. Sure, the MOTOSPLIT may not be the craziest phone we’ve ever seen rendered, but it’s pretty close. And that may not be a bad thing.
