It’s starting to look like smaller is better, as almost every console has taken the approach to creating smaller systems. Then again, it makes sense, because who really wants a console the size and weight of a cinderblock (ala the original Xbox)? The Nintendo Wii is a very small system, and with Sony’s new PlayStation 3 Slim, it was inevitable that Microsoft would get in step.

It seems that HTC is not the only company cooking up some sweets. The rumored BlackBerry Slider have made its live image debut into the web. It is interesting to see RIM trying out new form factor to their line of BlackBerry devices. BlackBerry have kept is familiar candy bar style through out their devices and with the release of BlackBerry Flip in 2008, they introduced a new flavor to its berries. Now, with BlackBerry Slider, a hybrid of Curve and Storm, brings an interesting addition to RIM and its line of BlackBerry products.

On March 1st Marcus Lehto, Creative Director for Halo: Reach with Bungie Studios, posted in the dev blog on www.NobleActual.com, “On another note, I hope you all like the MP bomb we’re about to drop on the world in about a day. Enjoy!” at the end of his post. Now, nothing was posted yesterday on Bungie or on the blog, but we all know how the internet works.

It seems that HTC have been pushing their line of products out to the US soil one after the other. As some of you may know, few weeks back, there was a leaked video of a HTC Android handset with a Verizon boot-up screen, and some leaked photos. As far as the specs go, it is identical to the HTC Desire and Nexus One. 3.7-inch AMOLED Display, 5mega-pixel camera with flash, 1GHz Snapdragon processor. But unlike the Nexus One, which is slated to release to Verizon in the Spring, it comes with HTC’s Sense UI.

There isn’t much to go on here, other than the fact that this real-life shot of the Legend from HTC looks exactly like the render everyone saw a few months back. The optical mouse at the bottom is positioned right where the trackball of yester-year would have been placed, with what looks like touch-sensitive buttons right above that. There aren’t any real surprises in store for anyone who picks up the successor to the Hero, but we’re sure we’re not the only ones who think this thing is attractive.

Considering how fast things get passed around on the Internet, we’re surprised that it took this long before anyone got a chance to see what the myTouch Slide would look like. When it was first rumored to exist last week, we half expected to see shots of the device the same day. But alas, we had to wait a bit longer, and while we realize it may not be the flashiest handset to get released this year, it doesn’t look half bad, either.

It may not necessarily be Motorola who wants you to check out this crazy concoction of a phone and keyboard, but perhaps someone at Motorola. These blurry-cam shots of a render of a future phone are pretty fantastic, and by that, we mean out of this world. Sure, the MOTOSPLIT may not be the craziest phone we’ve ever seen rendered, but it’s pretty close. And that may not be a bad thing.
