PSA: iPhone Now Available For Purchase Without Contract

Apple has announced that we can now purchase iPhone contract free at Apple store or at AT&T stores.  This is very interesting timing that Apple chose to make this move. Just a little less than a week since the launch of AT&T compatible Nexus One, Apple finally made the move. It seems though that Apple is intimidated by Google’s expansion into AT&T network and may be they felt the need to give current AT&T customers the options they deserved. These contract free iPhone will be priced at $499.99 for the 8GB, $599.99 for the 16GB, and $699.99 for the 32GB model. Although you are able to purchase this contract free, it will still be locked to the AT&T network.

PSA: HTC HD2 and Motorola Cliq XT Launch Date Leaked

Just hours after the leak of the HTC HD2 and Motorola Cliq XT price leak, another leak regarding the launch dates of these two devices have surfaced. According to the leaked information, Motorola Cliq XT will be launching on March 10th and the HTC HD2 on the 24th. Besides these two phones, T-Mobile will also be releasing a T-mobile mobile broad band ready Dell Mini 10 netbook on the 24th as well. It seems that T-mobile will be having a busy month this month and plenty of goodies to offer.

Despite the fact the iPad can’t legally be pre-ordered right this moment, it looks like rumors are beginning to fly around that this Thursday, the 25th, could be the start date for Apple to start pre-orderes on their upcoming tablet. PSA: Shigeru Miyamoto Confirms New Nintendo Hardware

It’s looking more and more like a quick-bits news day today. We don’t necessarily have a problem with that, but when it’s something as juicy as this, we’d like to have just a bit more information to give you. Either way, it looks like Nintendo is indeed hard at work at creating a new piece of gaming hardware bliss for everyone out there. It was confirmed by Shigeryu Miyamoto himself, along with the fact that there are more MotionPlus titles coming out soon. The big question is: mobile console, or home-based console? Who knows. Hopefully we find out sooner than later.

PSA: Barnes and Noble Finally Releases nook Into Stores

Just a quick update: the nook is finally funneling into stores this week. You can also finally start ordering it from Barnes and Noble’s website, and expect a realistic delivery date from this point on. Now that the hardware and software are up to par, after some heavily-needed updates, it seems manufacturing is finally meeting expectation. Of course, it has to deal with the iPad’s announcement, but for those looking for a lofty eBook reader, this is the way to go.
