One of these times, we want a rumor regarding an Apple event to just collapse and disappear without any foundation. Of course, that would mean we wouldn’t have anything to look forward to, regarding press events, so maybe that’s a bad wish. In this case, we’ll say we’re fairly enticed to see what Apple officially has in store.
Truth be told, Apple’s juggernaut pieces of hardware have consisted of laptops and the iPhone. Now though, we’re looking at uncharted territory. Or that’s what everyone else thinks. At least hopes. We all think a tablet is on the brink of announcement, so much so that scavenger hunts have been engaged in hopes to get a bona fide first look. While we’re hoping for something earth-shaking as well, we’d think it was kind of funny if Apple were just priming us all for a little recap of their yearly earnings, or landmark App Store milestones.
Right from Apple, we’ve got word that the event will be taking place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco. It’s set to start at 10:00am Pacific, so expect a flood of news around that time, on that date. We’ll be covering the information right from the get-go, so stay tuned.
