As we mentioned earlier in the month, Apple is announcing something today. The rumors are still flying about what that thing, or things, may be, but everyone is pretty certain Steve Jobs is going to be on stage long enough to tell us that a revolution in tablet computing, along with printed media, is just around the corner. We also mentioned that we would be bringing you the latest intel from that event, and we plan to do just that.
One of the more interesting facets, beyond the obvious desire to see how the thing looks and what software it’s got under the hood, is the name. We’re eagerly anticipating what Steve Jobs has decided to call their tablet device. Whether that be the iSlate or iPad (the two main contenders), we don’t really care. We just want to move past the rumors, and finally see what it is that has gotten all of us in the tech industry in such a crazy haze.
Be sure to stay right here, as we bring you the latest information regarding Apple’s event, along with some personal commentary. This day in January is primed to be a game-changer for a lot of industries, and we can’t wait. We’re sure your excitement is just as huge, so sit tight for just a little bit longer.
