Ever start a multiplayer shooter, where every single player’s initial plan of action is to grab the sniper, despite you knowing you’re the only one worthy of it? Well apparently City Interactive felt the same way, that’s why they’re creating a game called Sniper: Ghost Warrior.
Due to the increased media attention focusing on Snipers and their antics in the real world, the creators of Chicken Riot and other games decided to make a game focusing on this recent surge. Cue the birth of the first person shooter, Sniper: Ghost Warrior. The game is set to take place in the fictional country known as Isla Trueno. The main character will be fighting against a fascist regime that has overpowered the old government and assumed full control.
The game is expected out in the second fiscal quarter of this year and will be a PC and Xbox 360 exclusive. This may be a good hold over during that period of time which doesn’t boast a great lineup.
